We have stayed there 10 years ago and loved it then and it was even better this time, lovely room lovely food and drinks and all the staff were so friendly
The hotel is in what looks from the front like a lovely building; at the back is a brick monstrosity which fortunately you don't see much of (but what possessed the owners?). It's in a very beautiful place. Staff were kind and conscientious. There are numerous small and well-furnished places in the ground floor where you can sit. There is an agreeable bar. The food was good, although not stellar.
Location was beautiful. Peaceful and quiet. Just the ticket! Rooms comfortable and restful.
I loved the fact there were lots of places to sit and eat / drink. Lots of cosy rooms.
Rooms are lovely, wasnt keen on the harder matress and pillows though. Food is excellent. staff are lovely.
