Cleanliness, ease of access, modern feel, powerful shower

Mayfield Suites was the perfect location. It is in a cute neighborhood and close to attractions (but not too close!). I was also near the best coffee shop-- make sure to visit the Earl Grange Cafe! As a solo traveler I felt safe walking around alone. I paid for an early check-in and a load of laundry. The owners are kind and responsive. They set up an ironing board for me when requested.

The place was charming and the staff was exceptional. Walls were decently soundproof, everything was clean, well stocked tea area, fast free wifi, friendly and attentive staff, and right next to a bus stop. It was a great stay

The property manager was very nice. Our connecting flight from Heathrow to Edinburgh was canceled. We took the train and arrived after 11:00 p.m. The check-in was friendly, and the stay was good. The bus stop is less than 5 min walk.

For our first visit to the UK & Scotland, staying at the Mayfield Suites made it an even better experience. Our host went out of his way to make us feel special on our anniversary and the room was comfortable, clean, and had a great view of a cozy outdoor garden area. Everything was walkable or a quick train ride. Perfect. Would absolutely stay here again.
