We loved our stay in this beautiful, serene, and inspiring place. The Bothy is very comfortable and well equipped. Fiona is a fantastic and very attentive host. Our one-year old daughter loved the walks through Cambo Estate down to the beach.

Location is stunning. If you’re looking for a tiny bit of heaven this is where it can be found.

The Bothy is a beautiful and peaceful place in a perfect location. The design is so thoughtful and all the products within it are carefully and ethically sourced. Booking was exceptional (thank you, Fiona), we had help finding charging for our EV which led to a brilliant visit to the nearby Kingsbarns Distillery, as well as booking hampers of delicious food to be there on our arrival. I would go again in a heartbeat.

The Bothy is a great place to relax away from a busy city and enjoy the Scottish countryside and Fife. There were a lot of lovely and thoughtful touches inside the property (like hot water bottles, a hammock and chairs, extra throws and blankets as it can get cold in Fife as well as portable lights and torches and even marshmallows to roast on the fire). Although the Bothy was quite small every inch of it was maximised by having a lot of clever storage spaces incorporated into the furniture. You can tell that most things inside the Bothy were bespoke, like the blinds and furniture, and a lot of thought and care was put into choosing them. What was also great was that we were offered the option to purchase a handmade hamper of local goods by the St Andrews Hamper Co that was delivered to the Bothy prior to our arrival. Overall, it was a great place to visit and we’ve had a lovely time there.
