The property was equidistant to Glasgow and Edinburgh and less than ten minutes away from Stirling which had a proper large grocery store and a better castle than Edinburgh Catle in the middle of town. it was easy to make day trips from it. Furthermore since it was about .25 miles from the road, there was no traffic noise. The grounds were beautiful and the host Allison couldn’t have been friendlier.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Old Leckie Farm! The accommodation was fantastic, really beautifully done and the location just added to it. Toasty warm house, great bedding, very comfortable beds, everything you need in the kitchen and a boutique hotel inspired bathroom. The children were very excited to stay on a farm (loved Flopsy the very friendly sheep!) and the location was close to Stirling and everything this old historic town has to offer. Alison elevated our stay to another level with her warm hosting and even took the children on a tour of the farm which they still talk about! We will certainly be returning.
