It was a good location for exploring Whitby. The staff were very attentive, particularly Phil and Kirsty.
Breakfast choice was good. Room clean and bed comfortable.
Friendly staff. Good value. Good parking, acceptable distance for walk down to whitby centre (if you don’t mind the uphill walk back).

Andy, Debbie, Lauren, and Paula were extremely welcoming. I had flown from Florida to Manchester and had driven all day in bad fog with jet leg. What a beautiful destination the Penny Hedge was. Excellent range of well-kept beers, great evening menu, excellent full English breakfast, clean rooms - slept 10 hours. What a positive asset to Whitby. I would stay here every time !!
