Lovely setting. Grounds well looked after. Very large room. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. Didn’t use pool. (Nice too that they’ll happily give you a small jug of fresh milk for your in-room tea if you don’t like the UHT milk.)
This isn't our first stay here and yet again, it didn't disappoint. The property is wonderful and set in beautiful grounds. The rooms are massive and clean, the bed is comfortable, the staff were amazing.
The only downside to the room is that the shower/tub is narrow and has to be used with care. I can envisage someone without the best balance can easily slip and hurt themselves when stepping out.
Private estate feel and great bar and dining. Wait staff was very accommodating.
Breakfast good selection, hotel in a lovely location.
Breakfast was excellent. However, there was no internet connections in the wing where our room was located. My husband went to the reception desk after dinner (evening of 11/28) around 9 pm to inquire, there was not one there. We called the desk from our room several times, there were no answer.
