Charming and characterful pub in a beautiful village. Lots of good hiking opportunities around. Good shared bathroom.
Old English home wood and stone construction was good ambiance. Food was very good. Great location to get away
The location is great for exploring the town and hiking in the area. It was comfortable and clean. Parking not on premises, but staff pointed us to an area across the street.
Lovely staff and good facilities. Only fault was that there didn’t appear to be enough staff on at times, therefore food / drinks took along time to arrive
Location. Staff making a cake for us. We met there 43 years ago and returned for our wedding anniversary. We were also given a bottle of wine with our meal. We chose to eat out at the excellent expensive restaurant down the road our second night.
