From its external appearance and gorgeous landscaping to its tasteful interior design, the property shows a careful balance between preservation and renovation. Our full size bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were spacious and nicely appointed. The free parking was a bonus, but the delicious & generous breakfast was truly a delightful surprise in no small part because of our server Grainne. When we asked about the area in which the hotel is located, Grainne graciously shared her knowledge of history, ancient architectural sites, art, and the natural beauty along the Severn River. The inn reflects a high level of care that comes from its employees and likely its management.

Excellent hotel in lovely location ie next to river Severn room was number 1 upstairs nice size with sofa and river view Very big comfy bed Loads of parking

The staff was fabulous- Caroline, Grainia are super friendly and helpful- others also, but I didn’t get their names. David is the manager and is really funny and works very hard.

Breakfast was lovely (good selection of meat, fish, veggie). We loved having a drink/food close to the water
