Location is beyond fantastic: Keswick city center with dozens of cafes, restaurants, bars, and shops in the town center are just 1-10 minutes away depending on what part of Keswick one is walking too (a large and fantastic Booth's and Fitz Park are <10 min to the NW and NE respectively), while Andy's place directly borders Hope Park and the adjoining Crow Park to the east and one can walk to Derwentwater lake's beach in 5 minutes. Andy is very friendly and helpful and provided plenty of honest and helpful tips and suggestions.

Lovely Easter weekend spent at Rooms36. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, kettle and coffee machine provided in the room with a shared fridge downstairs with milk provided. The bed was incredible comfy and the room was cleaned to a high standard. All rooms are dog friendly which was great for us bringing ours, but you wouldn’t know a dog had been in before due to the clean in both the room and the hallways. Location is fantastic, couldn’t be better placed for both access to the town and to the lake, a great starting point for many walks. Parking also included for a couple cars, we weren’t early enough for one of the spaces outside but lots of street parking nearby so avoided having to pay for parking. Andy the host is friendly and very helpful and knowledgable about the area if you want any suggestions of things to do. Highly recommend and would stay again.
