The bedroom/beds were very comfortable; the dining room is spacious and has a beautiful view of the well-kept gardens and surrounding countryside...and the breakfast choices were very good; the location is quiet and central to Ambleside hiking trails; the grounds are expansive and worthy of exploring; the staff is very friendly and helpful!

Good location and price, nice gardens. Great walks from the area and local pub for good food and drinks. Easy access and parking. The rooms were a good size. The facilities were good.staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Rydal Hall is an excellent value for a multi-day stay. The accommodation was basic and plain, yet comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower provided ample pressure with good temperature control. There is comfortable seating in the lobby and the dining room is spacious and filled with light from large windows. We had breakfasts and dinner during our stay - breakfasts are served buffet-style with an ample array of hot and cold items. Dinners are pre-ordered and served restaurant-style. The dining staff was attentive. The grounds around the building are very well-tended and beautiful. There are very nice walking trails all around the building. Parking is readily available close to the building.

Excellent value for money, location is perfect right in the middle of Lake District. The views of the front garden are amazing to wake up to. The staff are very helpful and polite. The complimentary bisquit tea and coffee was very welcomed. Will definitely visit again.
