Set in an 18th-century, grade II listed building, the Satis House Hotel has 3 acres of parklands and is located just off the A12. Free Wi-Fi and free on-site parking are available. Local, seasonal produce features on the British menu. A full English breakfast is also served in the contemporary and light dining room. A flat-screen satellite TV and DVD player are included in each modern room at the Satis. Views of the walled Victorian garden are featured in some rooms. Darsham Rail Station is less than 1-mile away and the coastal town of Dunwich is a 10-minute drive away. Minsmere Nature Reserve and the Suffolk’s heritage coast are a 15-minute drive from the hotel.

Loved this place. Mad decor, lots of space, very pleasant staff
The breakfast was excellent; and the location of the hotel was ideal for exploring the Suffolk coast The room was comfortable and stylish. The hotel was situated in large grounds with an impressive display of mature coniferous trees.
Everything what I like in an hotel, interesting and different. if you like a Premier Inn you won’t like this ( must have been these people who gave negative comments)

We chose to stay in the Yoxford area as we planned to visit local villages and Minsmere RSPB reserve over the weekend. We had read that the hotel was "quirky" which appealed to us. We stayed in the Minsmere room which was large, well furnished and equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Everywhere was very clean. Throughout the hotel the ornaments seemed very "colonial" but fitted the age of the property and were indeed quirky and interesting. The breakfast was very good indeed and the manager was friendly and helpful. A great overnight stay for us, celebrating a rather special birthday.
