The location and property are lovely . Breakfast was very good . The guest house was extremely clean and homely .
Mr & Mrs Pooley were welcoming and friendly , they made sure our stay was good .
I would definately stay again and recommend Smithy Lodge .

Mr & Mrs Pooley had provided lots of thoughtful extras in the bedrooms over and above what you would normally expect.
The breakfast was very good.
The room (deluxe triple) was very quiet even next to the road and it was very clean and plenty of space for 3 of us, excellent having the onsuite bathroom with shower.
Good price and nice breakfast. The owner was very nice and helpful.
You are given a key to go about your business so you can return at your leisure. My group visited a local nearby town and returned at midnight with no problems.

Peaceful area, lovely hosts. I was leaving early in the morning, so having the take away continental breakfast was amazing and very tasty.
