Gorgeous authentic English house right in the heart of York.
Central location, plenty of space, owners very helpful.
The location was perfect, 8 people our party enjoyed staying here.
The house is lovely. 4 large bedrooms on the 2nd floor and 3rd floor. 1st floor is the kitchen and living room. Toilet near living room downstairs.
The kitchen had everything you'd need for a short stay. Didn't cook in the kitchen, though.
Two bedrooms on the 3rd floor had en-suites. The 2 bedrooms on the 3rd floor shared a bathroom down the stairs between the 2nd floor and 3rd floor. The shower was good, but be careful, the hot water ran out after 6 if us showered. I believe there is a hot water buster button, though.
The two rooms on the back of the property with Minster views were lovely and no noise, but the front two bedrooms you can hear people talking in the street and it doesn't help that there's a 24 hour McDonald's right opposite. However, they do provide ear plugs, and if you are in the front bedrooms overlooking the street, use them.
The location is brilliant and would recommend for large groups/ couples.
