Very central location. Cosy, comfortable room, very homely.
Stamford lodge is a few minutes walk to the very quaint and lively town centre. My room was quirky and comfortable. I appreciated the fan to cool me as the temperature was high for my stay.The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure and the bathroom had a wee bit of a luxurious feel to it.
Although on a busy road it was quiet at night so I had a good night's sleep. I would recommend Stamford Lodge and I would return.

The host left tea, coffee milk cheese and biscuits and a bottle of wine. Very thoughtful.
Very quaint little property right in the heart of beautiful Stamford. Lovely friendly and helpful host.
Bed really comfy & shower perfect. Added extras of cheese, fruit etc very nice. Will return :)
