Very clean and comfortable accommodation, with a nice personal touch of milk, strawberries, cream, cakes and wine in the fridge on arrival, which was appreciated after a 6 hour drive. Ambleside town center is a couple of minutes walk away and there is plenty of hiking to do from Ambleside itself.

The kitchen was well set up. Cooking oil would have been nice. Queen bed was comfortable.

The house was very modern. It was all in one level and it was comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was well equipped. The Lake District is beatiful and the cottage is in a lovely area, very close to the town center and within walking distance of Lake Windermere, falls, hiking trails... We had a great time and were very, very sad to leave. If we're every visiting that area again, and I hope we will, we'll definitely try to stay at this cottage.

The apartment was bright, clean and very well appointed. Great location with terrific access to town, yet a bit quieter than in the middle of everything.

Lovely, comfortable, updated, and spacious cottage in a convenient area. Highly recommend.
