Booked short notice , dog friendly accommodation .
Dog friendly, room was great with everything we needed. Very friendly staff and attended to everything we needed
I have stayed here at least half a dozen times now and it never disappoints. It was my first time bringing my dog and the hotel was very dog friendly. Food was superb, as always. Will definitely return.
The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Yvonne.
The room was clean but dated. To be fair, it wasn't the room I booked but it didn't give the impression that the other would have been value for money. The bathroom was spacious and clean but the shower wasn't a very strong flow.
We had a meal there in the evening and that was pretty good but, be warned! They don't start serving till 6.30pm so the queue to order is large straightaway which meant a fair wait for the food. The breakfast was a good size but, unfortunately, the bacon was like leather :-( Maybe this was because we didn't go down until 9.00am and they stop serving at 9.15am.
We left early the next day as I was unwell so we can't comment on the breakfast as it is normally.
The Bacchus is well situated, the bar area is lovely and plenty of room in the beer garden.
Mainly nice staff accept for one. Quality of service and food good. All good and clean. In a great location. I found the staff very helpful
