This was perfectly situated to explore Hadrian's Wall, The Roman Army Museum, and Vindolanda. The staff were very hospitable, and the food was delicious (we ate dinner at the pub as well as breakfast the next morning). Parking was easy on the lane outside.
The location was ideal for our purposes, having set off from Bowness On Solway for a weeks cycle trip this was our first stop, The owners and staff could not have been more helpful or considerate to our needs, The evening meal and breakfast were superb, well cooked and ample portions a good choice of beer and Guinness, If you are in this area this is the place to stay.

Very quaint place and staff was super friendly. Food in the restaurant was delicious for both breakfast and dinner. Location near Hadrian's wall was the reason we stayed here and it was well worth it.
Our stay at the Belted Will was exactly what you'd want from a bed and breakfast: cute decor and atmosphere in a quiet village, good food, comfortable rooms, and amazingly friendly proprietors! From check-in to check-out, we were well-taken-care-of in every way. I highly recommend the Belted Will, and wish every B&B was this welcoming and cozy.
