The proper was very central, close to train station and the centre of York .
Great location. Comfortable bed and cute room. Large bathroom.
The location was fabulous, staff were happy and helpful. The room was a nice size and had everything we needed.
- Perfect location
- Truly lovely staff and kind pub regulars who are so welcoming and warm
- We we’re only there for one night, and while it was perfect for that, I wish we could have stayed longer
- has a separate entrance for late night/early morning entry/exit or if you’re not in the mood to walk through a pub
- pub is dog friendly and if you’re lucky you’ll meet cliff the frenchies who is such a snuggle bug
- room was well stocked, clean, and a good temp
The location is excellent, rooms were nicely furnished and equipped, beds quite hard and pillows not very good but for the price is alright. Very clean. The breakfast was really good!
