The restaurant food was particularly good, but pricey. The rooms were very clean with comfy beds. Loved the view of the river out our back window.
Great to find a good independant hotel these days, so few are left with the chains having taken over much of the sector.
The Corbett arms was a refreshing change, the room was very clean, tidy, modern, well appointed and spacious, the staff were all very helpful and the food was very nice and reaosnably priced.
Location by the riverside is very nice, with a car park, we did not venture into town as only staying one night on our way somewhere else and arrived quite late, but I think the town is within walking distance.
Seemed popular with locals for food / drink which is always a good sign.
Nice big room with a bath and a well equipped kitchen.
The food was great. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. We had a lovely view of the river from our room. Staff members were pleasant. The room was comfortable, with good lighting, a comfy bed, and control of the heating. Parking was free.
Lovely well run establishment. Staff were always friendly and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Nice views of the river too.
