The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, plenty of hot water and pressure. The food was very good. There are no shortcomings with this property. This is my second time staying here. Can't think why I would not stay here again when visiting Hexham.

This is a quant bed/breakfast/tavern. We had a great dinner and drinks when we arrived and breakfast the next morning was cooked to order and excellent. The room was charming. You have the climb the stairs to get around this historic building, but the rooms were nice. The location is right in the middle of this historic town of Hexham. It was a great spot to stay when touring Hadrian's wall.

Perfect stay. Super comfortable bed. Great shower. Location was brilliant and the breakfast was delicious.

Historical with pleasant decor, excellent breakfast choices,comfortable bed, short walk from the train station, close to restaurants.

The flexibility, friendliness, and efficiency of the staff. They made me feel pampered and relaxed. Housekeeping did a fabulous job every day. My room was spacious, quiet and comfy. The breakfast was delicious, and my need to have gluten free food was no problem at all.
