We had a wonderful stay in this fantastic old coaching inn. It exceeded our expectations in every way. We came with our two dogs and had a dog friendly room with a special dog welcome pack with a ball, poo bags and treats. The staff were lovely and all loved the dogs. We were very pleased to be told of a walk by the river Stour only 3 minutes from the door, which was so pretty and there were lots of places for the dogs to paddle. We also did a great walk in the shady woods of Bryanston. We enjoyed the hearty breakfast on both days and again the staff gave us a warm welcome. B

A great ambience to an old English hotel. Rooms are always well fitted out, with comfortable beds and a little welcome badger on the bed! Some rooms are like rooms from a grand English home. There is a choice of places to eat add the food is good. Request for an ironing board was handled immediately.

Traditional decor but modern facilities.sunday roast was exvellent.certainly intend to visit again

Beautiful hotel and restaurant. Very nicely decorated rooms.

Evening meal was very good, albeit a bit expensive.
