It was a warm, friendly place to stay, the room was great and the hosts were excellent, food was great and excellent breakfast
I would stay there again
Lovely pub in a tiny town, close to the coast. Very comfortable and decor in good taste. Hosts are amazingly helpful and welcoming, and as new owners are making a big effort to renew yet keep up the spirit and prestige of the dining. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.
After stopping here last year on a motorbike trip with mates, I thought it would be a lovely place stay with my wife, so came again this year and the standard was just a good, friendly, clean and comfortable, great beer wine and food
Quiet location. Great room. Wonderful food. Enjoyed talking to host.
From our arrival to when we said goodbye we were treated like friends as opposed to customers.
Great owners and staff, really friendly and accommodating - loved our evening chats, there appeared genuine interest in what we had done that day whilst also giving suggestions of where to go / what to see.
Food was superb - great choice and locally sourced produce which is always a plus
Definitely on the recommendation list - location is lovely for after dinner walks
