Nice warm friendly little pub, in a quiet area. Staff very helpful with any questions asked. The regulars inside were welcoming and chatty and also answered any questions positively and honesty. Although they don't serve food, they're are the usual online delivery companies that will deliver to pub.This suited me because of the nature of my work. If fancy something more simple you may use the microwave in the kitchen, cutlery and plates can be provided to make the meal more homely. My personal preference of tap lagers are on offer so was happy, are other beverages on offer to choose from. Location is in middle of Newbury and Basingstoke with A34 and M3 not too far away. Just a few steps from the Library Bus Stop, the location is perfect for commuters. There's also a pub where you can drink and meet some very friendly locals. The room: sparkling clean.
