A family owned and managed inn, The George Hotel Easingwold overlooks the pretty Georgian market square, and offers a warm welcome, fine food, real ales and good accommodations. All rooms have private bathrooms with a welcome tray and TV/telephone. There are log fires in cooler months. The hotel makes an ideal base for visiting York, The Dales, The Moors/coast or simply a few days away.

Having stayed at the George Hotel previously once again not disappointed, staff as always very friendly and helpful.
Excellent location, good food
Breakfast - lovely choices. Excellent.
Staff - all staff were very helpful, welcoming, and worked with a smile to a high standard keeping busy throughout their duties. Obviously committed to customer satisfaction.
As we were staying at hotel to attend a special celebration lunch, was extremely grateful to be offered an extension on time before checkout to allow time to relax in room before lunch party friends arrived at hotel.
Beautiful room and stylish decoration. Good bathroom and excellent powerful shower. Bed reasonably comfy. Outstanding breakfast and Sunday evening roast dinner. Lovely staff all very helpful. Some parts of the hotel are a little dated but it looks as if ongoing renovations are underway
