Good food at very reasonable prices. Excellent breakfast. Staff lovely.
The welcome at The George Inn was very good. It was a welcoming place to arrive to after a long journey. It is a very old building with lots of interesting history. They had good wines and ales on offer and the menu was extensive. The food was very nice. The room was small but had everything we needed.
The George Inn is an iconic part of the beautiful town of Mere. The new owners, Paul and Anna are doing a fantastic job of running this warm and hospitable county inn looking forward to coming back many times in the future
Great location, exactly behind Mere town square. Ample parking available on the back side. Room was comfortable.Sumptuous breakfast. The Inhouse Pub and adjoining restaurant has a charm about it.
Everything was great. This is a well run establishment with excellent, friendly service
