I loved the overall vibe of this place. It was great to see the bartender check us in. The room was perfect for our family of 4. The only downfall was the unit did not have air conditioning but most places in England do not have AC. We would definitely stay here again. The town was so charming.

There was no breakfast available unfortunately however we managed to find a very good place to have breakfast a short walk from the venue. The area is worth a good explore with lots of craft shops and steeped in history

Didn't have Breakfast. But food was good. Except Sunday lunch let down by warmed up Yorkshire pudding. I know it's difficult with a small kitchen.

We had booked another place, but they suddenly cancelled on us so the Golden Cross was a last minute choice. We were suprised to find we liked it! Location very central Spotless Helpful, attentive staff Modern , large rooms in an cool old building

Absolutely everything! I can only recommend it! Great location too
