Absolutely loved the quaint medieval charm of the town, great views, beautiful surroundings. Manager Beverley and the staff were friendly and helpful, - despite the fact that we had unexpectedly brought a canine hitchhiker, Moo, (our neighbours' dog), who we had to look after at very short notice. ( i think Moo enjoyed his trip too) We booked the Hush Suite, lovely room, really well designed, stylish shower and bath, (a rarity in hotels imo). Had such a good night's rest that we overslept and missed breakfast, which finishes at a reasonable 10.30. Luckily, the manager was kind enough to provide us with copious amounts of coffee, tea, and a continental breakfast, so we didn't feel we'd missed out. Will definitely stay again, -have heard great things about the breakfast and will be definitely be up on time, next time. ....and no dog.

The inn had very nicely appointed rooms with comfortable beds and a feeling of the past. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Staff were welcoming to my family, we had 3 rooms booked. All the rooms were clean and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were thoroughly enjoyed not just for taste, but atmosphere.

Beautifully furnished and had a lovely warm welcoming environment. Great having parking just for hotel guests. Lovely bright restaurant overlooking the garden. Wine and beer from the Balfour Winery was a nice touch. Very dog friendly.
