Host Barry was very gracious and informative, location was great for hiking and in town activities.
Quirky independently run hotel. Host was very helpful and accomodating. Hotel definitely not corporate.

owner and his wife were amazing, couldn't feel more at home. the fact they got my daughter an easter egg was outstanding.
Everything. The stay was exceptional. The hotel is lovely with everything that you might need in your room (the most comfortable bed I slept in so far!, towels, toiletries, tea & coffee, beautiful mountain view). It’s in the very quiet, rural area with Walla Grag just behind it (beautiful view of Keswick and Derwentwater lake). The hotel has a big parking & outside leisure space in the garden. Run by lovely owner, who also has a bar & restaurant (a gem for vegetarian and vegan) in the same building. A few minutes by car from Keswick.
The location and the food were exceptional. The owners took good care of us.
