Charming pub, with a nice view of the old harbour.
Although they did not provide the twin beds, the room we had was very nice - with harbour views and a pretty balcony. The general decor of the place was a little shabby and in need of updating but our room was I think one of their best. Breakfast was more than adequate.
I liked the history of it. The location was excellent
The staff were very friendly & helpful, the breakfast was delicious & filling. The bay beside the hotel is a very nice relaxing place to sit, especially first thing in the morning.
But despite the room being a little worse for wear, I'd still recommend.
cosy old style bar with good selection of ales, good choice of bar meal menu, excellent breakfast, lovely staff, WiFi, close access to forest walks, free parking, quiet at night
