The location was perfect- exactly what we were hoping for. The room and the bed were very comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it the room was.

Cosy and welcoming hotel which I use regularly. Always friendly helpful staff and great breakfast. Parts of it look a little tired but it has great charm and comfortable clean rooms

I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of not just the room but the hotel overall . Given them cheaper price (as it was a Friday and usually more expensive in Brighton) I had lower expectations for overall quality. I will definitely be coming back Also on the sea front, so easy to get to and from and the staff were very helpful

Breakfast setup is alot better than last time we stayed it's all now self service whereas before you sat down at your table and your beverages were brought to you before you went up for your breakfast.

Fantastic hotel very friendly staff super efficient and helpful. The manager brought up more pillows immediately when requested. Super side sea view. The lift was great fun like being in an old movie. The breakfast was really generous. Super location. Do not hesitate to stay here. The desk in the room was great. An old fashioned feel and a very famous hotel. I got a very good last minute bargain price excellent value for money. Thank you would definitely book again when I am next in Brighton. I also managed to check in earlier than advertised. The reception also offered a left luggage service. Highly recommend. If you are interested in history this is a landmark hotel in Brighton's history. Upon arrival I was given a scroll giving a timeline of this famous hotel. My only regret is that I couldn't stay another night.
