The Parsonage Hotel & Spa is a Four Star Hotel set in 6 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland and offers free WiFi and free parking. York's city center is only 15 minutes' drive away. Built in the early 1840s, the building maintains many of its original features. The Fat Abbot restaurant offers classic pub-style food. Guests over the age of 18 are welcome to make use of the adults only Cloisters Spa and Health Club, which includes a 16-yard swimming pool, spa bath, modern gymnasium, sauna, steam room, aromatherapy and salt rooms. Holistic treatments are also available. You can also enjoy a round of golf at Swallow Hall Golf Club, a 9-minute drive from from The Parsonage Hotel & Spa.

Location is perfect for visiting York,very quiet,fat Abbott restaurant is fun ,good menu,
Spa area was great to relax in. Staff were friendly. Had dinner at the pub on site and was given a discount... pleasant place to stay and very pretty.

It was soooo hot we were on the ground floor so didn't think it was safe to leave the window open all night, street level.
Great location, bus stop just outside which takes you into York in less than 30 mins. Spa was great with lots of loungers and chairs. Didn't eat at the pub on site but enjoyed a lovely meal in the Thai restaurant next door.
