It was a really hot day and there was a roof balcony where staying guests could sit out. The staff were friendly. Really clean. Excellent value.
The room was very clean and tidy the owner Jerry and his future wife were very friendly and couldn't do more for me. I would like to wish all the best
It was good value. Host was very personable. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Good location.within easy reach of the Lister Hospital which was the reason for our visit to Stevenage. Plenty of parking available and quiet overnight.
the staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, Gerry was as described in previous reviews, nothing was too much trouble and the locals in the pub were warm and friendly
Gerry manger was very pleasant while staying at poachers pub.
Very nice updated pub for being a local pub.
All the local people were drinking, having fun and laughing.
Will definitely stay again here.
