The location on the promenade was lovely. Lots of free parking. Food at dinner and breakfast excellent. Friendly staff. Beautiful old building. A cozy bar.

I really liked this hotel, great staff who are super friendly and a lovely nights sleep. I wish it had a spa maybe for future queens?!

Location, obviously. Friendly helpful staff. I left my phone charger behind but I phoned and they found and returned it in the post.

The Queens is a lovely Victorian hotel that sits right next to the sea. The beautiful lobby and sitting rooms give the impression of being in 1900. Our room did not have an ocean veiw, but the large dining room and other rooms on the ground floor had large windows for excellent views of the sea. Our room was a bit small, but we expected the size given that this is an old hotel. We assume that en suite facilities were added to the rooms long after the hotel was built. The room furnishings were very nice. The food was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Hotel is a block from a wonderful botanic garden (Morrab Gardens).
