All the meals were excellent. Fresh produce well served. Good selection of wines
Room spacious . Lovely shower and lots of hot water.
Pleasant helpful staff.
Staff were great. Marcus the barman greeted us and made us very welcome, taking our rather heavy case up the stairs for us.
Dinner and breakfast were excellent.
The Ship had just changed Management and had had a renovation.
We were anxious that it would not be open for our stop-over booking whilst on a walking tour.
We needn’t have been - they went out of their way to accommodate our stay.

I booked this hotel as I was staying at a friend's house and there was no room for my son. The booking in took some time as there was only one member of staff who was dealing with the bookings and the bar requests, so we stood at the bar for at least 10 minutes. The room was lovely and the woman who checked us in was very helpful considering she was doing a lot of the work herself.
