We're a family of 3 and stayed in the annex. Comfortable bed, clean rooms and nice little touches such as biscuits and hot chocolate with the tea and coffees.
Directly outside the pub is a pathway that takes you through farmers fields to Aysgarth falls. A beautiful walk with stunning views and just what was needed after a great pub dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and set us up for the day. Already planning out next stay
Friendly helpful staff, great food and nice comfortable room .
Large comfortable room. Excellent breakfast and dinners. Staff was very attentive at all times. Good place from which to hike to Bolton Castle and Aysgarth Falls. We would definitely stay at The Wheatsheaf Inn again.
A very charming Inn. Room was clean and comfortable. The food, both for supper and breakfast was quite good. The sitting area was very nice and the James Herriot connection is a fun little bonus.
Friendly, efficient & attentive staff. Excellent breakfast & good choice of evening meal.
