Very , very busy archetypal English village pub. Despite this, the landlady took time to greet me and escort me to the beautifully appointed room. Fantastic atmosphere and excellent draught beer made the bar a very pleasant place to be. High quality cooking made the evening meal a treat. Pre-ordered breakfast was ready for me after a comfortable night's sleep
