The room decor was so luxurious and extravagant. They thought of every little thing you might like. Like a lit fire in your room. A bathtub in the middle of the room, bath robes to. To a water bottle. The staff was so welcoming and the food delicious

Loved the food dinner and breakfast superb room was comfy really shabby chic rolled bath in the room great value very happy staying there before a tunnel crossing (14 miles away) to France

Honestly thought this stay was fantastic. It is close to a load of vineyards in the area. There are a few lovely walks right on the doorstep. Parking was easy. The food was absolutely outstanding. Both the dinner we had (one of the best pub meals I've ever had) and the breakfast the next morning (included). The room was beautiful, stand alone tub was a touch. The whole pub is gorgeous. To top it off the staff were incredibly nice. Really helpful and welcoming. Explained everything about the stay really well and gave loads of recommendations. Dog friendly too. Will definitely be going back and would highly recommend !

For breakfast you get to pick from a small menu. As an starter you can choose to have some Kentish yoghurt, which was delicious (however the first morning it was not available) There are 4-5 options for breakfast, such as a full English breakfast, a sourdough toast with avocado, poached eggs and bacon or smoked salmon and a vegetarian option and buttermilk pancakes. All very goods, howver for the latter it depended on who was in the kitchen making them. One morning they were very fluffy on the inside and crispy on the edges, which was lovely, the next morning, they were flat, very doughy and dense. But overall, the breakfast was really good and you order the drinks you like.
