The free parking was a bonus. Location is great for city centre. We arrived early and Jenn on reception checked the car in no problem, even though we were too early to check in to our room. Price was great at £38 for the night. Stairways were a bit grubby. Room needed updating. Bed was uncomfortable. Unfortunately the many seagulls nesting outside the window were screeching all night. Obviously outwith the control of the hotel, but hardly slept because of them. It was a warm night, so didn't want to close the window. A fan was provided, but didn't use it.

Hotel was in a great location not far from shops,pubs, staff were very frendly

Location was perfect for wandering the main shopping areas of Aberdeen and enjoying stops for lunch/drinks etc Reasonably priced too. At breakfast we were informed we were not on the list, which was annoying as I had paid extra for this. Thankfully, we were not charged but it was annoying. Also, a particular staff member came across as moody and intimidating, huffing at us for bringing plates back to the bar and then appearing to give us dirty looks during the rest of our breakfast sitting.
