Refreshing to stay in a hotel built long ago. Has character. Every room and hallway different. Exactly what we were looking for. Breakfast was wonderful.

English breakfast lovely, continental good although had to ask for side plates, milk, cups, coffee. However

ALL staff really friendly and helpful. Fabulous electric heater that warmed our room up quickly.

Quirky hotel. Omg! Trying to walk down the corridor after being in the bar makes you think you are drunk!! Haha the corridor on the first floor is not level at all, just adds to the character of the inn.

The hotel was in a lovely location, the building is beautiful and we had a nice big room with lots of space and facilities. The staff were all attentive and helpful, we would definitely come and stay again!
