Staff was exceptionally friendly. The hotel is extremely clean and quiet. The hotel is also in the perfect corner of Maquoketa where it’s just a quick drive to the highway or anywhere you need.
Very nice atmosphere - very clean. Good selection for breakfast. You could add bananas though. Special thank you to Brayden . He was the night shift clerk. He made sure every one at breakfast was comfortable and had everything we needed. Very respectful young man.
The fact there was a pool and the bed and pillows were comfy
The front desk clerk was very friendly! The place was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The hotel was as expected and we booked it as a place to stay while visiting Maquoketa State Park. The breakfast was basic with a waffle maker, sausage, biscuits/gravy, cold selection. I've become somewhat of a bougie traveler and prefer a nicer hotel with softer sheets, but no complaints about this one. You get what you pay for.
