The room was not clean and the cleaning service was bad, no elevator, when asked for kettle he did not send it instead asked me to come down yo collect.

Location is perfect, next to Stanley park and Robson Street. It is nice for shopping and dinner.
Because it's in a crowded street, you hear the traffic and people outside, but that's what you get in a hotel situated in Robson Street.
Great location for this older style hotel. Best value you will get in Vancouver. Double room is small but manageable.
