Hotel was clean our room was 1st floor walking out to beach
Everything was great. Awesome location, clean rooms, and the private beach was great. I would highly suggest getting a lakefront room, it was beautiful.
We loved the location. Our room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful to meet our needs.
When you go through a booking agent sometimes you don’t always get the best rooms or the best views. But when I booked I selected a balcony Lake Huron view and let me tell you it was PERFECT. The best part was getting up every morning, drinking a cup of coffee and looking out over the lake. The Dockside Waterfront Inn had its own beach right behind the property (not private). The hotel was 4/10th of a mile from downtown. Parking downtown can be tight so anytime we wanted to shop or eat we walked. Also, and this was a huge bonus, the hotel is only 1/4 mile from Shepler’s Ferry which runs to Mackinac Island. We walked to the Ferry and saved money on having to pay for parking.
