Location was very nice, with a view of part of the city. It had a very Spanish feel. The rooms were in various buildings. There were elevators. It once was a Spanish like shopping market. There were many Mexican restaurants in the area. We did feel safe in this area which is called Old Town. The staff were very helpful when we had a little trouble finding things like where the Breakfast was held. You do pay for the breakfast though. It was OK. The rooms were clean. We had only two nights and so we were happy to have the Shuttle from the Airport and just get a taxi to site-see at the harbor where we visited the Midway Naval Aircraft Carrier.

Buffet breakfast at the Tequila Factory is really good. Decently priced for adults and kids (by today's standards) and a good selection of fresh buffet breakfast foods (bacon, french toast, pancakes, cereal, bagels, coffee, etc.) Easy walking distance to Old Town with tons of things to do there. Nice pool and spa, both clean. Decent shower, typical low water pressure for a hotel but good temperature range. Beds were pretty good. Pull out couch bed is pretty small, only had 1 child on there but it was fine for them (elementary age), you probably don't want to put an adult on it. Room was a little cramped for a family of 5 but it worked out. Less than 10 minute drive to Sea World. Parking garage was cramped but felt safe.

It was unique,a little on the venture’s side. It had great views of San Diego. We were in the number six villa on the third floor, which you could see at a short distance. We ran into people that had came up to the higher floor so they could take great pictures of the view and their family members. I would return ,I noticed in that town between eight and nine the restaurant shut down maybe on the weekends they’re open longer.. my granddaughter and I had a great time. Thank you.

I love the hotel, so close to everything. The staff was very nice but i could'nt get housekeeping to clean the room.

comfortable, bay side view is sensational. perfect location for old town San Diego visit. Convenient access to airport and downtown.
