I was surprised by the value for the accommodation. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Fan was included and helped to keep noise from the nearby road down.

Very quiet considering it's right on a main highway next to a truck stop.

This is a roadside motel close to the northern entrance to Crater Lake. It IS an extremely old building, with low, squat ceilings, but it's built of concrete, not wood, and for that reason is extremely well insulated - you'll hardly need the heater or AC - PLUS I could hear absolutely no noise from my neighbors (except when they passed by the front door). I also found it clean, and the bathroom water and drains worked fine. The old couple who runs it were friendly and helpful. The room rate was reasonable. I admit it didn't look like much, but it was a pleasant surprise, and well worth it.

It was a retro hotel that looked like it was built in the 40's but it had recently been painted and the linens were clean and the room had great amenities.

I was offered to charge my Tesla, using extension at the motel.
