Disliked how easily the mattresses moved off the bed!!

The Fairfield Inn is a very nice budget-priced hotel with a large, covered arrival zone for unloading luggage. The breakfast was good and featured omelettes and tasty egg souffles with sundried tomatoes. There is an oatmeal bar which includes walnut and pecan halves along with several other toppings. The oatmeal had too much water content and therefore, was a bit sloppy. The meat was bacon strips. The staff was able to accommodate my request for a ground floor room. If traveling westbound on I-20, the hotel is close to exit 82. Slow down to ensure you can turn on Stuart Avenue. I shot past the road and turned into the lot next door which is paved with crushed rock and very rough. Overall, I was very comfortable, the room was very quiet and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

The room was very nice. I liked the large bathroom & the bed was very comfortable!

The staff was very friendly. I was greeted every time I walked in. The hotel was very clean and breakfast was delicious. I had a waffle and some rosemary potatoes, so good! My room was very spacious. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. There was a young lady at the front desk who went above and beyond. I checked out and realized I had forgotten a large Yeti rambler in the room refrigerator. I had been gone several hours at this point taking care of some things locally. She was so kind and went to check the room herself. She called me right back to let me know she had found it. Luckily, I was only 30 minutes away and was able to turn around to go back and get it. If I am in the area, I will definitely stay here again!

Cost was a fair price, the staff were very nice, I slept like a baby in the bed and it was very quiet. My son dropped his drivers license and the staff Ashley called us and let us know they found it, We were very thankful.
