Staff is friendly, the room was comfortable, and the amenities were nice.
The views were pretty - everything was so good to the indoor pool, and the front desk employees are amazing! I would come back here again, and just knowing your car is safe in the garage under the hotel is a plus and they have a clicker for you its 75 bucks but its on hold to you check out and it will be refunded back to your account. I recommend getting that if you are leaving late at night to go places. Also, there is a 150 hold when you check in, but that's normal - just thought everyone would know and not be surprised because it will be refunded once you check out!
the property was immaculate and the art on the walls in both the halls and rooms were awesome to look at. felt like being transported back into time into a golden era.
right downtown close to nightlife, food, shopping, and the river
For a one night stay it was just fine. Close to casinos, where you can find a few good bars and restaurants and to downtown Reno, which in my opinion isn’t the best place to be.
Overall this hotel had what we needed after a long drive. A nice pool and lounge area and a nice rooftop patio. It was clean, we had a good sized room and free parking space.
At a first glance it may seem outdated, but it’s actually well maintained and it looked like they did some upgrades to the rooms.
Enjoyed the vintage character of this old fashioned hotel.
