Beautiful place among the trees, well designed and furnished, kitchen well stocked, very clean, comfortable and private, quiet, good location. This guest house is above the garage a distance from the main house and surrounded by huge trees. Washer/dryer available. Those with mobility issues should know there are a few steps to the front entrance and few more to the living quarters. The bathroom is down a short flight of steps from the rest of the unit.
The cottage is quiet. It is near redwoods. It is close to some great parks with beautiful hiking trails. Arcata is small but has great places to shop. Eureka has great murals to find.
Staying in this place is almost like staying in the forest with all the windows and openness of the place.
Stellar experince in every way possible. Actually the experience was even better than the description and photos presented. I can not recommend enough and would absolutely stay there again
The property was gorgeous. We felt like we were in a magical cottage with the beautiful landscape around us. The home was just perfect.
