Was a bad bit concerned by previous reviews but having stayed there twice in the past,I decided to stay again. Very quiet clean place
The property is a great value and amazing location near the beach and close to Lauderdale by the sea.
I normally stay at higher-end more expensive hotels but I opted for value and location when I chose Sky Islands and I'm so glad I did! The location was perfect and there were many restaurants and shopping choices within walking distance. There is public beach access that is super close. The owners, Bobby and Lois, made me feel SO welcome and comfortable and SAFE! I'm a solo traveler so I'm usually on high alert and I felt very safe in this neighborhood. The bed was awesome and I loved having a fridge and microwave. Also - free parking in front of the motel! All in all, a great experience and I would return!
Nice location walked everywhere. Beach is absolutely gorgeous
My wife and I loved our stay. The managers, Bobby and Lois, were super friendly and helpful. They gave us great recommendations of where to go and even where to eat and they did not steer us wrong. We will definitely book another stay in the future.
