The Monte Vista is perfect for a weekend getaway to the mountains of NC. Well maintained historic property at a very reasonable price. Would love to visit again.
Good location, next to the main attractions in town. Just 20 mins away from Asheville. Great for relaxing. Easy parking, you can walk to the main street.
The area was wonderful with lots of homelike aesthetics, the hotel was an antique and very special! A lot of old architecture you could see in the hotel which made it better. The room was very nice indeed.
It was a charming well restored historical gem that was clean and well appointed.
The grounds are very nice and I wish I had more time to use all the amenities. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure and the staff was informative and friendly.
