Very welcoming and friendly host. The apartment is also private and a great getaway from the city!
The apartment is in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The historic town is 5 mins by car, and it had nice clothing stores and restaurants. There is a historic theater also

The view was so beautiful. Our host and hostess were so friendly and kind.
We enjoyed staying at this property and the owners/hosts were a joy to speak with. They offered suggestions and were very accommodating to ensure we had a good stay. It is located at the lower rear of the home, on a country road with direct views of the ocean. We could smell the amazing natural floral fragrances wafting through the evening air into the room - it smelled so good (not sure what was blooming, however it smelled so good.) The location is at the north part of the island and you can drive down the east coast to Hilo (about an hour) and the volcano's (about 1.5 hrs) or drive down through the cowboy country *Waimea" to the sunnier, dryer Kona coast - west side of island (1.5 hrs.)
